The Forgotten Himalaya

1 x 52'

The Forgotten Himalaya is a story from remotest Nepal where the mountains meet with Tibet and India. We are confronted with the stark contrast between the beautiful Nepali people in their humbling mountain landscapes and their harsh living conditions.

We follow the efforts of two special people, a local Nepali doctor, Yeshi, and a Canadian, freelance writer, Wanda, on their epic journey to distribute over 10,000 baseball caps to some of the poorest people on the planet to help protect them against cataracts. This fascinating documentary explores the culture of the Nepali people and their extreme poverty, giving us insight into an undiscovered way of life.
